Welcome to the Whitman High School Education Foundation (WHSEF) Fall 2026/27 Campaign!
Your support will help us make this 2026/2027 school year the best year yet!
WHSEF, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit, fundraises to support Walt Whitman's academic excellence by funding unmet technology, program, facility, equipment and professional development needs in two main ways:

Fall Fundraising Campaign. Donations made during the Fall campaign will immediately go to work to support things like teacher grants, facility improvements like new signage for the building, and much more! Donations at higher levels also include recognition and tickets for our Spring fundraising event, Vike Night.

Spring Vike Night Event. Vike Night will take place at Caddies on March 5, 2027 from 7 - 11pm in Bethesda. Tickets, which also serve as a fundraiser for WHSEF, will be available for separate purchase in January.

Honor a Student or Staff Member Through a Gift
You may honor a student, teacher, counselor, staff member, or others by donating in their name. We will gratefully send an acknowledgement to the honoree. You may make a donation in someone's honor either online (see above link) or via check. If paying by check, please include an enclosure with the name of the honoree, the honoree's email address, and your email (for donation confirmation).
Employer Matching Donation
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees and/or spouses. The impact of your gift to the WHSEF may be doubled or possibly tripled. If applicable, request a matching gift form from your employer.

We welcome contributions from donor advised funds!
