How You Help Us Help Whitman

Thanks to the generous support of the Whitman families and other friends of the school, the Whitman High School Education Foundation helps maintain the excellence of the Whitman experience by awarding grants to respond to unmet needs of the school.

Your contributions make the foundation’s work possible and positively impact the lives of Whitman students and staff every day.

  • Donation to the George B. Thomas Sr. Learning Academy, an MCPS-affiliated summer program that helps close the achievement gap

  • Donation to Whitman's sister school in support of various enrichment activities including underwriting AP test fees
